SCRCC Lincoln Dinner Featuring Sheriff Bianco
The Siskiyou County Republican Central Committee held on Saturday June 21, 2025, a Lincoln Style dinner featuring Sheriff Chad Bianco from Riverside California and an announced candidate for Governor of California. The successful dinner attended by approximately 250 people was held at the Community Center in Montague and hosted by Dan Dorsey, Chairman of SCRC. Among the VIP’s attending was Siskiyou District Attorney Kirk Andrus, Tenessa Audette, Mayor of Redding, and Siskiyou County Sheriff Jeremiah LaRue. The enthusiastic audience dined on a specially prepared dinner of prime rib prepared by Chef Dave Tyler.
Sheriff Bianco gave a very detailed presentation covering his growing up years and desire to make public service his life’s work. He covered his extensive experience as Sheriff of Riverside County with particular attention to his providing through his department extensive public security and law and order on a very tight budget. He was able against all odds to provide these services at a substantial savings to the County.
Sheriff Bianco provided a brief, but through presentation, of how he expected to be able to turn California around in terms of reducing regulatory constraints on housing and business development and reducing waste, fraud and abuse. He encapsulated the current trend to more conservative enthusiasm thoughout California and a need to stem the tide of Californians being displaced by overreaching government. He outlined the trend by the current liberal politics to support fish over people and the destruction of the farming and ranching communities by controlling water and water rights.
He also emphasized that the current California liberal support for migrants and the policies of not supporting Federal immigration policies has led to the current crisis of extended camps of immigrant populations and the drugs that are being smuggled in as part of the process. Crime is rampant in the cities and counties practicing a policy of non cooperation with Federal Immigration Law.
All in all, Sheriff Bianco was supported by a population looking for an opportunity to change the liberal policies of Sacramento. He further emphasized the need for Republicans of all stripes to support a single candidate for the office of Governor in order to overturn the status quo.
